At 8 months old, Nathaniel can now sit up by himself. He's not crawling yet, but that doesn't mean he stays still. Between pushing, pulling, rolling, and scooting, he can cross a room in record time. Tooth number three cut today, but we haven't had any relief because number 4 is giving him problems. I don't know if it's because of the teething, but he decided to stop taking naps this week. Anytime he's put down he's hysterical. During the day, we just keep going, but at bedtime, getting him to sleep has become a very long process. Once he is down, he'll sleep for nine hours straight, and then he's up again until the next night. I'm hoping this is just the teeth and not a lasting trend.

I've made it up to row 200 of his baby blanket.
Maybe he'll get to use it before college.
