We spent last weekend converting the nursery into Charlotte's room. Her new room has a bigger closet with mirrored doors- two reasons why I think this room will work better for our daughter. (Hopefully, she'll spend less time in front of the mirrored doors in our bathroom.)
First we replaced the old, square, frosted glass light fixture with a ceiling fan.
This is the same style fan we installed in her original room a few months ago.
Then we painted the room. Here's how it looked before.
The former owners painted the whole house this tan color.
The room still needs curtains and storage shelves in the closet, but I think the next project will be painting Joshua's room.
What a beautiful color for a little girl's room. I know any day now Olivia is going to ask if we can paint her room "princess blue" like Cinderella's dress! By the way, Charlotte looks very handy with a screwdriver. I bet she had that ceiling fan up in no time!
What a great color! I'm sure Charlotte will have many wonderful hours playing dress up in front of the big mirrors.
Love that color! I am thinking a lighter shade will do well for my living room :)
