Charlotte seems to realize that her first birthday is fast approaching, and she wants to hit as many milestones as possible beforehand. On Sunday, she took her first steps. Then I noticed yesterday that she has another tooth coming through on the top, making the teeth total now seven. At the rate they come in, she may have eight teeth by next Saturday. She has also started drinking through straws. She won't drink from a sippy cup, but give her a juice box and she's in heaven. Charlotte's even big enough to start taking big girl baths in the real bath tub (no more baby tub).
With all the excitement around here, only a little knitting has been accomplished. I think I'll put Sonnet to the side for now and plow ahead on Haiku. I hope to have it and the black sweater finished by her birthday Saturday.
Your sonnet shows so much more texture than mine, it looks great! Good luck with the haiku, it goes so fast! I'd love to see a pic of your little girl in it when you're done!
